Friar Foundations 2024 participants live in Shanley Hall. Shanley Hall is a semi-suite hall housing 364 sophomore male and female students. Rooms include two double-occupancy bedrooms and a bathroom, and the building contains multiple shared study spaces and lounges. There is also a game room and kitchen on the first floor. Named after the college’s 12th president, Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. ’80, it is the first new residence hall since McCarthy Hall was built in 2004.

Concannon Fitness Center
In addition, students can take advantage of our state-of-the-art Concannon Fitness Center. The center provides 13,850 square feet of fitness space for our membership population, along with 3,600 square feet designated for varsity student-athletes.
Members can find a variety of cardiovascular and aerobic exercise equipment, the majority with personalized entertainment screens, throughout both levels.
Likewise, strength machines and free weights of varying fitness levels can be found upstairs and down, to meet the needs of all members.
Raymond Dining Hall
The main student dining hall on campus, ‘Ray’ offers home-cooked classics, made-to-order pasta dishes, traditional deli sandwiches, pizza, and a selection of international favorites.
